Heritage Day activities

To make the most of this day, it’s important to plan your visit in advance. The first step is to check the Heritage Days program on the event’s official website. The program is usually published a few weeks in advance. By consulting the program, you can identify the sites that interest you and plan your trip accordingly. If you have museums and historic monuments in mind, such as the Château de Versailles, free admission is offered during the Heritage Days. However, due to their popularity, it’s advisable to visit them early in the morning to avoid long queues. And make sure you’re well equipped for the visit, as the gardens are vast and require a certain amount of physical effort.

You can also stay at the teacher’s home, as we suggest, to enjoy the local culture and taste the authentic cuisine. We’d like to share with you the experience of Will, one of our students visiting Morzine.

Will took part in the construction of the cathedral's cardboard facade

Will came to France to learn French, and his stay with Carol was one of the most memorable moments of his trip. Not only was he able to make progress in his learning, but he also had the opportunity to participate in a work of art related to Heritage. Together with residents and artists, Will took part in the construction of the cathedral’s cardboard facade. It was a moment of pure joy for our dear student, who despite a busy day had a smile on his face. The experience was a great opportunity for him to discover the city’s historical and cultural heritage, and to immerse himself in the life of the locals.
