My name is Anne, and I have been a teacher of French as a Foreign Language for many years, after living for 18 years in Africa with my husband. I welcome you into my home with kindness and enthusiasm. For me, learning French is above all about sharing, connecting, and experiencing the language in everyday life.

You will stay in a comfortable and bright bedroom with a private bathroom, thoughtfully designed so that you immediately feel at home.

YOUR HOME STAY FRENCH IMMERSION IN SAINT-CLOUD

For me, immersion in my home is a lively and authentic way to learn French. We will speak as much as possible — during lessons, of course, but also in everyday moments, around meals, or while exploring the Paris region together. When you arrive, I will offer you a short French assessment so I can tailor the program precisely to your level and goals. I work with well-known FLE (French as a Foreign Language) textbooks and enjoy introducing progressive grammar through texts to help you learn in context.

You will have a bright bedroom with two single beds (together or separate, depending on your preference), a private shower in the room, and a desk area. The toilet is shared. My apartment, located on the second floor, offers a pleasant view of the residence’s garden as well as Paris and Mont-Valérien.

We will share homemade meals in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Cooking is, for me, a true moment of connection and conviviality. Depending on your interests, we can explore the Saint-Cloud park, visit the Suresnes market, or spend an afternoon discovering the most beautiful monuments in Paris. Here, everything is an invitation to share and to discover French culture.

Just steps away from central Paris, theaters, cafés, and restaurants, you will enjoy the authentic French lifestyle during an unforgettable immersion stay.

I hold a double Master’s degree in French and in French as a Foreign Language, and I have been teaching since 1996 with the same passion and high standards.

What motivates me to offer immersion stays is the richness of human connections and the power of sharing. After living for 18 years in Africa, I understand how essential cultural discovery is in language learning. Living the language every day, exchanging ideas, explaining an expression over coffee, deciphering a French custom… These authentic moments are what truly help you make progress.

LEARNING FRENCH

My lessons are structured, dynamic, and fully tailored to your profile. From the moment you arrive, I assess your level in order to design a personalized program based on your personal or professional goals. I use well-known FLE textbooks and particularly enjoy working on grammar through texts by Marie Barthe, helping you learn the language in context and develop a natural way of expressing yourself.

We alternate between comprehension activities, conversation, targeted grammar points, and vocabulary enrichment. I make sure to create an atmosphere that is both supportive and appropriately demanding, so you can progress with confidence.

Lessons take place in my calm and bright living room, around a round table where we can work comfortably. My goal is simple: to help you gain ease, accuracy, and fluency, while truly enjoying the learning process.

ACTIVITIES

I will introduce you to Saint-Cloud and Paris : a blend of elegance, history, and the French art of living. We can stroll through the magnificent Saint-Cloud park, admire the view over the capital, or wander around the nearby racecourse. On Sundays, the Suresnes market is the perfect opportunity to practice French in a friendly, local atmosphere.

Just 18 minutes from Paris and 7 minutes by train from La Défense, I will suggest cultural visits tailored to your interests: Notre-Dame, the Panthéon, Montmartre, the Arc de Triomphe, the Musée d’Orsay, or Sainte-Chapelle. We can also explore the Château de Malmaison or the Fondation Louis Vuitton for an artistic immersion.

Each outing becomes an opportunity to speak, observe, and understand French culture, and to progress naturally through our conversations.
