Only a tourism professional (registered by the State), member of the APST is able to guarantee all the funds you have deposited and to be able to carry out your trip thanks to the APST service guarantee.

1. INSURANCE

It is the responsibility of the student to take out insurance covering cancellation, accident, illness, injury, loss or theft of personal belongings or other disaster against a third person. Liability insurance-Civil Remedies is strongly recommended. We can not assume any liability for accidents caused to third parties or property during the stay.

We reserve the absolute right to dismiss a student (without refund) for theft, deterioration of equipment or furniture, criminal or inappropriate behavior, with an obligation to return home at his own expense.

2. TERMS OF SALE

2.1 Scope

These terms and conditions apply to any booking of a stay or online course, named interchangeably under the term “services” in all of the T&C and distinguished if necessary, made remotely by a natural person with legal capacity. and acting in a personal capacity as a consumer with SLImmersion directly on the SLImmersion website accessible at the following address: slimmersion-france.com

2.2 Price of services

The price of the services is that provided when the quote is issued. The price indicated by the “express quote”, for stays, accessible on the site, cannot be used as a reference price. SLImmersion reserves the right to modify the price of its services at any time, in compliance with applicable legislation. You will be billed for the services you order on the basis of the price in effect on the site at French programs prices at the time of validation of your order.

2.3 Bookings

Selon Le code Civil: art. R211-9 art. R211-10 art R211-11
When you send us the form request, at this address for Programs at the teacher’s home: Quotation and at this address for online courses: Online French Immersion, we will confirm the availability according to your choices and establish an estimate corresponding to your requests.

2.4 Payment

You are asked to pay for the entire service reserved at the latest 1 week before the first day of the service. The reservation and the establishment of an invoice will only be effective upon receipt of full payment.

PAYMENT ON THE INTERNET

Online transactions are processed on entirely secure pages. Wise Support takes care of encrypting the digits of your credit card number and all the information submitted during the transaction, so that all the transaction details are encrypted
and secured. S.L.Immersion has chosen the Wise Support or Bank transer, these secure payment systems ensure that the transactions are processed in a most secure environment. Your payment is processed directly on the Wise Support website in an encryption mode (SSL encryption process). At no time S.L.Immersion can access your bank account details.

2.5 Start of the service

The service will begin on the day and time agreed by email or on the summary sheet of the service.
For online courses, the student and teacher can also agree not to start the course immediately, but on an agreed date in the future. If the student does not start classes on the agreed date, he will lose the deposit and the time slot. S.L.Immersion cannot guarantee any regular place before having a signed agreement and having received the deposit.

2.6 Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Consumer Customer has the right to withdraw and cancel and return the Order in whole or in part, without having to give any reason or pay any penalties, within a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from the day following the date of delivery of the Order.
Nevertheless, in accordance with article L. 221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the Customer is hereby informed that the right of withdrawal provided for in article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code may not be exercised for the provision of accommodation services, other than residential accommodation, goods transport services, car hire, catering or leisure activities that must be provided on a specific date or during a specific period.

2.7 Cancellation and postponement

2.7.1 For Homestays

Cancellation or postponement are only accepted by writting (letter, e-mail …) and the student must be sure that we have received their notification.

All cancellations and postponement are subject to the 150 euro cancellation fee.

If notice of cancellation or postponement is received at least 30 days prior to your arrival S.L.Immersion will charge you the 150 euros cancellation/postponement fee +10% of the total fee amount (full program) of the week(s) you are cancelling or postponing.

If cancellation or postponement are less than 30 days prior to arrival, no refund is possible. Refunds for cancellation requests made between the 1st and the 15th day of the month are processed on the last day of the month in which the request was made; refunds for cancellation requests made after the 15th day are processed the last day of the following month.

Once a program has started it is deemed to be completed and no refund nor credit can be given for unattended lessons, weeks or courses, in whole or in part, nor can refunds of accommodation fees be made in whole or in part.

If you need to cancel during the stay for emergency we will not able to reimbourse you. Please see your travel insurance terms. We will offer you alternative dates or some compensation to be agreed.

Despite the care taken during your stay by your teacher, if you are not satisfied and decide to cancel during the stay, please contact the director at celtina.masardo@slimmersion-france.com and explain your reasons (proof such as photos, etc. will be required). Then, if your reasons are accepted we will offer you alternative dates depending on your preferences and availabilities, or will provide you with some compensation to be agreed.

If, after the stay has started, the teacher has an emergency, and is not able to continue the stay as arranged, we will offer you alternative dates, or another destination homestay or reimburse a proportion of your stay fees, depending on the length of the stay remaining.

2.7.2 For Online courses

When you have defined a precise calendar of dates with your teacher for each online course and validated it, in case of cancellation of a course by you and except in case of force majeure (illness, accident, hospitalization, natural disaster), S.L.Immersion is not obliged to refund you.

Cancellations should remain an exception and more than three cancellations in a row will result in the termination of this agreement (unless otherwise agreed with the teacher). The student will then forfeit the deposit.

Termination of lessons / reducing the number or weekly lessons.
The student should notify the teacher of his/her intention to terminate the agreement/reduce the regular lessons per week at least two weeks in advance. He/she should take all of his/her lessons for 2 weeks from the notice day.
If the notice is less than 2 weeks, or if the student does not take all of his/her lessons, he/she will forfeit the deposit.
When reducing the number of weekly lessons according to this agreement, the deposit will be adjusted and the extra amount from the deposit used to pay the next upcoming lesson(s).
When ending the lessons according to the terms of this agreement, the deposit will be used as payment for the 2 last weeks of lesson.

Long vacations
In case of long vacations (more than three weeks), the teacher should be notified at least 2 weeks in advance : the student and teacher will agree on a resuming date, and the teacher will keep the weekly lesson times of the student available at his/her return. If the student does not resume his/her lessons at the agreed upon date, the agreement will be terminated and the student will forfeit the deposit.

3. COMPLAINT

The student have to contact his host in case of problem. Or contact the director celtina.masardo@slimmersion-france.com and explain the reasons (it has to be justified
with proof : photos,etc). After the stay, no complaint will be considered EXCEPT if the complaint have been explained during the stay.

We can take a student back (without payback) in case of theft, damage in material or other, penal infraction or inapropriate behaviour. With the obligation to go back home to his proper fees.

LITIGATION :

In case of dispute between the professional and the consumer, they will try to find an amicable solution.

In the absence of amicable agreement, the consumer has the possibility of seizing free of charge the mediator of the consumption to which the professional belongs, namely AME CONSO, within one year as from the written complaint addressed to the professional.
The referral to the consumer mediator must be made :
either by completing the form provided for this purpose on the AME CONSO website: www.mediationconso-ame.com ;
or by mail addressed to AME CONSO, 197 Boulevard Saint-Germain, 75007 Paris.

Any action at law will be under the auspices of the Tribunal de Commerce d’Avignon.

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE – FestiFLE HOLIDAYS

Article 1 – Scope of application

The present general terms and conditions of sale apply to all reservations for teacher training stays and courses as part of the FestiFLE stays and courses on the www.festifle.comwebsite , jointly managed by S.L.Immersion, registered with Atout France n°IM084230002, domiciled at 35 impasse des Mûriers, 84450 Saint Saturnin lès Avignon Siret 21824797211, Telephone : 06. 26.57.25.10, Email : celtina.masardo@S.L.Immersion-france.com and Groupement Payet Formations domiciled at 9 rue des bœufs, 30250 Sommières Siret 977 476 209 Telephone : +34 695 737 034, Email : info@festifle.com / adrien-payet@hotmail.com.

Article 2 – Details of services

FestiFLE offers a complete range of services, including teacher training courses and unforgettable language stays for classes during the most renowned French-language festivals. Language stays include accommodation, meals, cultural and educational activities, and supervision by qualified professionals.

Article 3 – Price of services

The price of the services is the one provided at the time of the quotation, on the basis of the requests initiated by the Participants or the training centers.

Article 4 – Reservations and quotations

Customers can make their booking requests by filling in the dedicated form on the www.festifle.comwebsite . S.L.Immersion, as booking manager, will draw up a detailed quote. For the reservation to become effective, you will be asked to pay a deposit of 30% of the total FestiFLE price. Reservations and invoices will only be issued upon receipt of full payment.

Article 5 – Payment

A deposit of 30% of the total cost of the FestiFLE stay is required to confirm the reservation. Payment of the remainder must be made no later than 60 days before the start of the stay. In the event of cancellation, refunds will be processed in accordance with article 8 of these terms and conditions.
Cancellation or postponement can only be accepted in writing (letter, e-mail, etc.) and the Participant must ensure that we have received the letter.

ONLINE PAYMENT

Online transactions are processed on fully secure pages. Article 6 – Seating limits and minimum number of participants

Reservations are subject to availability and will be confirmed according to the number of places available for each program. In addition, please note that a minimum number of 16 Participants is required for the program to be effectively organized. If the minimum number of Participants is not reached, S.L.Immersion reserves the right to cancel the program and refund the Participants concerned in full.

Article 7 – Cancellation, Interruption and Refund Policy

Article 7.1 – Cancellation by the participant or the center

Any request for cancellation by the participant must be submitted in writing (letter, e-mail, etc.) to S.L.Immersion. The date of dispatch of the letter with acknowledgement of receipt will be taken as the date of cancellation.

In the event of cancellation or interruption of the FestiFLE before the participant’s arrival, at the participant’s initiative and without a major reason, S.L.Immersion considers the program to be due and no refund will be made in whole or in part.

Article 7.2 – Cancellation by S.L.Immersion

In the event of cancellation by S.L.Immersion for reasons beyond our control, such as unforeseen circumstances or government restrictions, a full refund will be made.

Article 7.3 – Cancellation due to an insufficient number of Participants

A minimum number of sixteen (16) Participants is required for a FestiFLE stay. In the event that this threshold is not reached, Participants and/or centers having already made a payment to reserve their stay, the amount paid for the reservation will be reimbursed in full.

Article 7.4 – Non-Participation

Once a program has begun, it is considered due, and no refund will or can be granted.

Article 7.5 – Dissatisfaction during the stay

In case of dissatisfaction during the stay, the Participant is invited to contact the services mentioned inarticle 1 and to provide justifications (supported by evidence such as photos etc.). S.L.Immersion will examine the situation, and depending on your preferences and availability, we will offer you another stay or compensate you.

Article 7.6 – Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Consumer Customer has the right to withdraw and cancel and return the Order in whole or in part, without having to give any reason or pay any penalties, within a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from the day following the date of delivery of the Order.
Nevertheless, in accordance with article L. 221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the Customer is hereby informed that the right of withdrawal provided for in article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code may not be exercised for the provision of accommodation services, other than residential accommodation, goods transport services, car hire, catering or leisure activities that must be provided on a specific date or during a specific period.

Article 8 – Liability

S.L.Immersion declines all responsibility in the event of damage or loss occurring during the stay.

Article 9 – Changes

S.L.Immersion reserves the right to make changes to programs or accommodations in the event of circumstances beyond our control. We will keep you informed of any changes as soon as possible.

Article 10 – Acceptance of Conditions

The act of booking a FestiFLE stay implies full acceptance of the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale by the Participant.

Article 11 – Confidentiality

S.L.Immersion is committed to protecting the confidentiality and security of Participants’ personal data. Information collected in connection with bookings will be used solely for the purpose of providing the services requested and will not be disclosed to third parties without explicit consent. Your data will be kept for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected and for as long as your consent persists and has not been expressly revoked.

Article 12 – Applicable law in the event of dispute

Any dispute arising in connection with these General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, any controversy arising from access to or use of this website will be the responsibility of the Tribunal de Commerce d’Avignon.

Article 13 – Updating of GTC

The present General Terms and Conditions of Sale may be modified and/or completed at any time by S.L.Immersion. In case of modification, the new version of the GTC will be put online. The present General Terms and Conditions of Sale were updated on 14/02/2024.
