The city offers a spring-like climate all year round. Ideally located by the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, let yourself be seduced by its beaches and its cultural life. Numerous events are planned throughout the year at the French Institute.

Jérôme, your host, will help you discover the richness of this multicultural city where the East meet the West. Adapted French courses will be offered to you.

Jérôme lives with his wife in the heart of the city, in a flat in a luxury residence at 5 minutes away from the city’s main market and 15 min from the beaches walking distance.

YOUR HOME STAY FRENCH IMMERSION IN AGADIR

For me, immersion is the best way to learn French in a lively and friendly way. You will be able to improve during our courses but also be in the city and the region. Do not hesitate to
to tell me your learning objectives so that I can draw up a tailor-made programme.

You will be accommodated in a comfortable room with a double bed and a shared bathroom. You can come with up to 2 people. Ideally a couple as we only have one room available. You will enjoy having your lunches and breakfasts on our terrace which offers a view of the gardens.

You will enjoy discovering the culinary specialities of Moroccan specialities. Agadir has a large market 5 minutes from the flat walking distance.
The climate of Agadir allows to have vegetables and fruit all year round. Whatever your diet we will be able to adapt to your request. It is also possible to eat in the many restaurants of the city at a very reasonable price.

Hello, my name is Jérôme. I am a French teacher with a solid experience in teaching adults and teenagers.
I am also an author of children’s books, a passion I share with my wife as she is an illustrator.

I love to share my love of the French language. I found in Agadir a city where life is good in a French-speaking environment.

15 minutes, walking distance, away from the beaches, you can learn French in shorts and swimming costumes in the middle of the winter.

LEARNING FRENCH

I have been teaching creative writing in workshops for over 20 years. My writing career ranges from poetry to novels.
I love to pass on my passion and I can help you improve your writing. As a French teacher, I believe it is important to quickly acquire the ability to speak.

Conversation has an important place in my teaching.
Apart from the classes which will allow you to practice your French, the moments of conviviality such as meals and outings will be the highlight of your tuition.
 

ACTIVITIES

I will be your guide to Agadir and the region of the Souss Massa. The city is famous for the walk along the ocean of more than 4km long.
This is where all the hotels, restaurants and bars are.

There is a city market (souk) open all year round with its colourful fruit and vegetable market.
On the way to the city centre, we can visit the bird park and then go to the French Institute where there is a library, a green theatre and a cinema. It is also a place where French is taught.

A few kilometres away from the city, we will discover “the valley of paradise” an oasis where the water flows peacefully and where it is possible to drink a nice tea or even to eat.

Finally, we will visit the typical village of Thagazout a popular place for surfers from all around the world.
