Homemade meals, prepared by Caroline, are shared in a warm and friendly atmosphere — the perfect opportunity to practice French like a local. This peaceful, green retreat invites relaxation, connection, and the discovery of French culture.

Sunday: Arrival and first taste of immersion

Arrive at Nogent-le-Rotrou train station, Caroline will warmly welcome you before settling into your cozy room. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring local flavors — a friendly moment filled with guided conversations and laughter to gently break the ice.

Monday: Language, heritage, and the art of living

Start the day with a delicious breakfast prepared by Caroline, followed by 2 hours of dynamic and supportive French lessons to help you progress at your own pace. Enjoy lunch in French, then enjoy your third hour of French class and explore Nogent-le-Rotrou — its medieval castle, charming streets, and churches. Later, share a friendly dinner and exchange impressions from the day’s discoveries.

Tuesday: Nature break and spontaneous conversations

After breakfast, enjoy 2 hours of French lessons, then share lunch with the group. In the afternoon, participate in your last hour of French class and then relax in the garden or stroll along the Perche’s scenic paths, surrounded by hedgerows and apple trees. In the evening, savor a warm, home-cooked dinner at Caroline’s, in a friendly, family-style atmosphere filled with laughter and good cheer.

Wednesday: Cultural getaway

After breakfast, take the train for a day trip to Chartres or Le Mans to discover the region and enjoy your 3 hours of French class outdoors. Enjoy lunch on site and practice your French throughout the day. Explore local cultural landmarks, then return to Caroline’s for a delicious dinner, followed by a friendly moment of sharing and reflection on the day’s experiences.

Thursday: Learning and the art of slow living

Enjoy a delicious breakfast before your 2-hour French lesson in the morning. Continue with a friendly lunch shared with the group. Then enjoy your last hour of French class. The afternoon is free to wander, read, or chat in French at your own pace. In the evening, share dinner with your teacher and fellow learners, in a cheerful atmosphere filled with conversation and laughter.

Friday: Flavors and celebration

Enjoy breakfast followed by your final 2-hour French lesson in the morning. Later, share lunch together, enjoy your third hour of French class and then take part in a French cooking workshop, where you’ll prepare a full menu. In the evening, enjoy a festive dinner and savor the meal you’ve created together.

Saturday: Farewell and closing

Enjoy your final breakfast, then receive your certificate of completion. Share one last lunch together to say goodbye. Take in the warm final moments of conversation before departing around 2 p.m. for Nogent-le-Rotrou train station.
