Two double bedrooms and their shared bathroom will be at your disposal. You can come alone as well as with family or friends.

YOUR HOME STAY FRENCH IMMERSION IN FAYENCE

I welcome you to Fayence, one of the typical villages of the canton whose natural resources, heritage, terroir and art, offer an unique sweetness of life. During this authentic immersion stay with Marie, you will discover the pleasure of learning without the feeling of studying, in a relaxing context. You will be our guest, to my husband Alain and myself.

Prior to your venue, we will organize your stay together to best meet your expectations and your needs.

I will pick you up at the airport in Nice or at one of the train stations in the area. In our house in Fayence, located in a quiet and wooded living, setting off relaxation, you will get a comfortable double room with private bathroom and toilet. A second double room will also be available to people accompanying you.

Classes will take place in the living room or on the terrace, outside. You will be able to enjoy not only the swimming pool and the SPA, but also the petanque stripe, the small fitness centre and the piano. I like cooking and, if you wish, we could prepare together typical dishes that we will taste. It’s an opportunity to discover local specialties and to expand your vocabulary.

LEARN FRENCH LANGUAGE

I will offer you a tailor-made course, adapted to your level, your needs and your objectives.The morning will be dedicated to lessons, based on oral, visual and written documents, authentic, addressing various topics such as the sociocultural aspects of our country, French and international news, the environment, health, art…always in relation to your interests and expectations.

We will mainly work on the oral but the written part will also be approached in order to prepare for the afternoon activities in which you will be able to practice your knowledge.

I will also focus on helping you develop self-confidence through kindly listening and rewarding discussions.

My understanding of English and Spanish languages can be an additional asset to your comprehension.

ACTIVITIES

I will be your guide in discovering our beautiful region that features a wide variety of activities.
First of all, the area of Fayence will delight you by visiting its villages and their heritage, by its natural sites such as rivers and waterfalls, lakes and forests, by its museums and artist’s workshops and also by its local produce.
Beyond this canton, the regional attractions are varied and numerous such as the cliffs of the Moors and the Esterel, the cities of the coastline from Saint Tropez to Nice, passing by Fréjus, Cannes and Antibes or discovery flight at the Fayence Gliding Flight Centre (additional cost).

The discovery of Grasse, perfume capital, the medieval village of Mougins, Biot known for its ceramics and blown glass, the fortified village of Saint-Paul de Vence or the caves of Saint-Cézaire and Saint-Vallier-de-They are conceivable too. For art lovers, the area offers an interesting choice of museums : Auguste Renoir or Pablo Picasso, Pierre Bonnard or Fernand Léger, Henri Matisse or Marc Chagall, as well as the Maeght Foundation dedicated to modern and contemporary art.
We can therefore, according to your desires, enjoy nature by walks or hikes, discover cities and villages, visit museums, a perfumery, an oil mill or a vineyard, taste local specialties…
