Although there is no need to present Paris and its monuments, the City of Light conceals many other little-known gems and is constantly reinventing itself. Immersing yourself in the Parisian capital means enriching your French in a most stimulating setting.

Mathieu, who was born and lived a large part of his life in Paris, is delighted to welcome you to make you live the experience you dream of while focusing the French lessons on your specific needs.

The apartment enjoys an ideal location in the heart of the city, opposite the Pompidou center in the historic Marais district. Bright and spacious, it has all the necessary comforts and can accommodate 1 or 2 people in a single and/or a double room. The bathroom and separate toilet are common.

YOUR HOME STAY FRENCH IMMERSION IN PARIS

From experience, immersion is the best way to understand a language and a culture, and to grasp its nuances. It is also to take pleasure and confidence in handling the language of Molière during pleasant exchanges and memorable moments.

The single room on the street side is particularly bright and has a desk. The double room on the courtyard side is very quiet. You can also play piano or take advantage of the spacious living room to relax or immerse yourself in this lively area enjoying the view from the window.

Good mood, conviviality and sharing will be the key words of a stay at the house and it will start from the breakfast. For meals, we will revisit the classics of Parisian brasserie cuisine while adapting to any specific diet. I am very open-minded and interested in many subjects. I love to discuss them and help you discover different facets of France and Paris according to your desires. I do not own any pets but they will be warmly welcomed.

Having spent nearly 10 years abroad, teaching especially French, I had the chance to make wonderful encounters and discover incredible things in immersion. In my turn, I want to share my city and its many anecdotes in a warm atmosphere.

I also have the privilege of living in a large and functionalapartment, located in one of the oldest areas of Paris. Close to all amenities, it allows you to walk to the main monuments of the capital. I’m a smoker, I don’t smoke in the house but if you smoke too I’d be happy to go out on the street to smoke a cigarette with you.

LEARNING FRENCH

As an FLE teacher for over 15 years, I am lucky enough to always enjoy my profession. My pedagogy is based above all on the pleasure of learning and the practice in authentic situations.

I have had the opportunity to teach a variety of people (university students, professionals, retired people…) from A1 to C1 levels. I will adapt my resources to your needs and tastes to help you reach your goals in a friendly atmosphere.
 

ACTIVITIES

Whatever your desires, Paris will satisfy you! As «Titi parigot», your host will propose activities adapted to your preferences and your themes.

On foot, we can explore the beautiful Marais district with its historic buildings, walk along the famous banks of the Seine and follow the most emblematic buildings of Paris (Notre-Dame, Grand Palais, Orsay Museum, Eiffel Tower, etc.), go high on the Coulée Verte or visit museums and exhibitions.

Looking for more original activities? I propose you a game of pétanque in the antic setting of the arenas of Lutèce or the splendid Place Dauphine, a pancake workshop, a tour of the famous jazz club of the capital or even a barhopping.
