YOUR HOME STAY FRENCH IMMERSION IN CHIROUBLES

Immersion is the best way to discover and learn a foreign language. You will be able to integrate the language in a French and traditional environment while sharing meals with our family and discovering the Beaujolais region, well known for its wines.

You will enjoy a comfortable room with a double bed. You will be accommodated in a small house just opposite the family home. The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, two toilets, a bathroom as well as a living room and a kitchenette. You will have meals in the family house or in our wine cellar and even in the middle of the vineyards!

Beaujolais cuisine is typical of the Lyon region, which is known for its generosity. Beaujolais is an agricultural region and it is possible to find a lot of fresh and organic products. We can adapt our cuisine to your diet. Don’t hesitate to let us know what you like!

Learning a foreign language is always a challenge, but it gives you a better understanding of the culture of the host country. I love to travel and I am also a student when I travel.

ACTIVITIES

Chiroubles is well known for its wine, but what is not known is that it is a very small village of less than 500 inhabitants. Most of the inhabitants are winegrowers from father to son. It is a village which is part of the Beaujolais crues and there are ten villages to visit in all.

The village is known for its wine, but also for an exceptional geological site classified with the world inheritance of the unesco: the tomb of Gargantua. You can discover this place referring to the famous character of Rabelais well known for his epicurism.

You can visit the other villages of Beaujolais, Régnié, Brouilly, Morgon, Chénas, Juliénas, Saint-Amour, Fleurie, Moulin à Vent and Côte de Brouilly. For nature lovers and hikers, the region is well known for its green Beaujolais and its trails.
