Here is the recipe for entrecote-frites, a classic that will please everyone, especially if the fries are home-made!
- 1 kg of potatoes
- 4 entrecôtes
- Frying oil
- Salt

The recipe
- Start by peeling the potatoes, run them under clear water and then cut them into fries.
- Once the fries are dry, place them in the cooking oil, then take them out and set them aside.
- In a hot skillet, melt some butter and brown the entrecote on each side for 5 minutes.
- When the entrecote are done, set them aside and return the fries to the hot frying oil until golden.
- Before serving, season the ribs and fries with salt.
La recette
- Commencez par pelez les pommes de terre, passez-les sous l’eau claire puis coupez-les en frites.
- Une fois que les frites sont sèches, placez-les dans l’huile de cuisson puis sortez-les et réservez-les de côté.
- Dans une poêle bien chaude, faites fondre du beurre puis faites revenir pendant 5 min les entrecôtes de chaque côté.
- Quand les entrecôtes sont cuites, réservez-les et remettez les frites dans l’huile de friture bien chaude, jusqu’à ce qu’elles dorent.
- Avant de servir, salez les entrecôtes et les frites.
