Laurence is an experienced teacher, with a multicultural profile and a background in literature, tourism and business. She will take at heart to guide your steps in developing your skills in French while closely adjusting the methods to your profile, needs and wishes.

No doubt you will be surprised by the results, the ease, and pleasure with which you have achieved them! The 60m2 apartment is located on the second floor, via an outside staircase, of a pretty house with garden, and has a south-facing balcony terrace with views of the medieval town and Mont Ventoux. In a quiet neighborhood, it’s just a ten-minute walk from the town center, where you’ll find all amenities, shopping, cafés and restaurants, activities, …….

The student(s) will be provided with an individual bedroom. There is a cat as a discreet companion.

Your stay is extremely flexible, depending on your tastes and expectations. Laurence will provide you with personalized French lessons adapted to your level of French and your goals. She will be happy to bring you to the market and demonstrate French recipes for no additional fee.

LEARN FRENCH LANGUAGE

I have been working for a long time as a trainer for adults and as a communication consultant. I am familiar with the business world and can teach business French as well as specialty French. I have also studied literature and I like to share our rich written, spoken and sung heritage, as well as cultural and historical aspects and social issues.

As a media specialist, I will propose to study from authentic documents and from the written and audio-visual press. As I am interested in language sciences, I am always careful to ensure that the learning methods and the organization of the courses are in line with the student’s profile and needs, which can be readjusted on demand during the course of the learning process.

ACTIVITIES

If you are independent and wish to practice sports or discover on your own, I’ll be happy to advice you and provide my best secret addresses. I am very fond of my region, which has no more secrets for me and will be very happy to share its treasures and guide your steps with explanations if needed.

There are many historical landmarks and exceptional landscapes around (Mont Ventoux, Dentelles de Montmirail, Baronnies) which can be combined with the most fantastic hiking trails, with breathtaking views. My favorite hobbies, which we can share, include hiking, painting, and sculpting.

On the cultural side, right in Vaison, there is an endless offer of movies, theater plays, concerts, conferences,museums, exhibits, and open air festivals in the summer. The program is available at: [email protected]. Local products include lavender, olive trees, wines, fruit, perfumes, and saffron. Items can be bought directly with the producers, not mentioning the huge market which is held in Vaison each Tuesday.
